If you are interested, and meet the qualifications, you may enter the drawing to win a spot in the APA Team Captains Championship. This event is held in August at the Westgate Las Vegas, during the APA Pool Championships.

Players must have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team in the 2025/2026 League year, Summer 2025 – Spring 2026, in the area the team represents. Teams must be in separate sessions. Players are not allowed to captain two teams in the same session and still be eligible for this event. Yearly Schedule Divisions with 20 or more matches scheduled for play over the course of the division’s qualifying year will be considered equivalent to (2) sessions of standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies, thus their Team Captains will be eligible.

Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball League match scores or twenty (20) 9-Ball League match scores within the last two years by the entry deadline of June 30, 2026. A combination of scores from the two formats is not allowed.

Players must have played at least four (4) times in the Spring Session in the League area the team represents. Matches played can be in either the standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball or Ladies formats.

Players must be on an active (Summer Session) APA roster.

The Drawing:

If you'd like to participate, please be at VT Pool And Bar on Wednesday, March 11th BEFORE 8PM.

There is no travel assistance for these Vegas slots. Players must be prepared to pay their own way.

The two drawing winners will need to be present.

A $150 deposit will be required and must be paid immediately following the drawing.

Paperwork must be completely filled out and signed, It will need to be returned by June 16th.

The $150 deposit will be returned after all paperwork has been filled out correctly, signed, and returned.

Failure to do so will result in loss of the slot and deposit.

Slot will be awarded to the next Captain on the list.
