Spring Session 2025

by NW Dallas County APA

Welcome to SPRING 2025 - In DECEMBER 2024!!

A few new things going into the 3rd and final qualifying session for 8 & 9 Ball Events at the World Pool Championships in Las Vegas, 2025!

  1. Annual Memberships are due now, but NO LATER than January 1, 2025. You may play an unpaid member in December, but ONLY if they will be on your roster in January and are paid by January 1st. Unpaid members on rosters by Sunday, January 5th will be DROPPED. If they have played, they will be suspended pending payment of their annual membership.
  2. We recently discovered many of your posts to our Facebook Group were being automatically declined by a "Virtual Facebook Assistant." We have fixed that and you should feel free to post your comments in the group. We apologize to anyone who had a post unceremoniously declined. Please remember however, that absolutely NO POSTS relating to any other Pool League, including other APA areas, or tournaments are allowed to be posted here without apporval and without appropriate NW Dallas County APA branding (which only we can supply).

And a few important reminders!

  1. Captains can make their own roster changes for the first 4 weeks of the Spring session. The only time you need League Office assistance is if the player does not have a NW Dallas County APA number begining with 753, or, you need to make changes to your Captain or Co-Captain, or, you are trying to add a player already on another roster in your division.
  2. Take care if you are already qualified for the Local World Qualifier that you do not lose your qualification by dropping to below 4 members from your origianlly qualified team. At the end of the 4th week, NO OTHER CHANGES WHATSOEVER may be made to WQ team rosters. These are National Rules and there are ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS!
  3. If you are a single player qualfied for Spring Singles Regionals, you must remain on an active roster in the format in which you qualified. Again, National Rules - No Exceptions.
  4. Weekly fees must remain current or bonus points will be lost!
  5. Weekly fees must be paid in the Pool League APP. If you have had to Zelle, it's typically because you missed a payment. You will no longer be able to pay through the APP once scores are entered. Do NOT ignore late notices on your team in Scorekeeper.
  6. Patches are by REQUEST, not automatic. Please fill out the request for that is embedded in the Table Assignment News story in your app.
  7. EVERYONE, but Captains especially, should familiarize themselves with NW Dallas County APA's bylaws in addition to the National Rules in the Official Team Manual.
  8. Key dates for the remainder of the 24-25 League Year are available to all in the News Section of your Pool League App.

DON'T FORGET to sign up for the Toys for Tots Blind Draw Doubles Tournament at Wizard's Sports Cafe on December 7th!
