 MVP Singles Regional Qualifying Tournament

January 11, 2025 @ Wizard's Sports Cafe - 11am

This tournament is open to the top 3 MVP finishers in the Fall 2024 session.

A $25 deposit is required to hold your spot. Zelle to 214-281-6650.

MVP Awards for 1st Place will be awarded at this event.

This event is targeted to fill a 16-player bracket in each format, 8B & 9B. Once 16 is reached, we will start a waiting list. If you do not make the list, you may still come out and compete in any open Singles Boards we may run outside of the 16-player Best Chance Board. The Best Chance is a Double Elimination tournament that advances 7 players to the October 2025 Fall Regionals, where you will compete for a chance to play in Las Vegas in the Spring of 2026. All eligibility requirements for the APA Poolplayer Championship must be met. Minimum 10 matches in the respective format in the last 2 years, and must remain active in that format anywhere in the APA from the date of the local qualifier (this event) to the PPC in Spring, 2026.

8B & 9B STRAIGHT TO VEGAS Qualifying Tournament

January 18th (9B) and January 25th (8B) @ Wizard's Sport Cafe - 11am

Eligible teams must consist of 2 players on active NW Dallas County APA standard format rosters (in the format they are competing for) in the Spring 2025 session and the winning team must remain active through the date of the Championship in Las Vegas (for NW Dallas APA this will be Summer 2025).  

Each player must have a minimum of 20 matches played in the respective format within the last 2 years. The combined skill levels of the two players may not exceed 10 on the date of the NW Dallas County Qualifying tournament.

$100 entry fee per TEAM must be Zelled to 214-281-6650 to reserve your spot. 100% of the entry fees collected with be paid out first, to provide Travel Assistance for ONE winning team advancing to the Doubles Championship in Las Vegas. Any entry fees in excess of the amount required for the winning team's travel assistance will be paid out to top finishers. Dates and information for the Doubles Championships is below.
