2026 8 Ball Southwest Challege Las Vegas

Hi Golden Gate APA players, we have 3 spots available for 8 Ball Southwest Challenge this year. The team package is $681. Because we have three spots I will not be holding a qualifier this year and the spots will be paid outright by the teams.

Depending on how many teams are interested we will hold a drawing for the spots. Note: If budget allows I may pay for 1 teams slot, this will be decided during the drawing for the paid slots.

March 26-29th Westgate Las Vegas resort and Casino

Rules & Format:

Three-person teams | apa 8-ball format | combined Skill Level Limit 14
Team combined SL must be at or below 14 on Feb 27th. Players whose SLs increase after this date will be allowed to participate; however, they will be required to certify and play at the higher SL. Only one SL 6/7 per team
Each player must have at least ten (10) 8-Ball scores or ten (10) 9-Ball scores played in the last two (2) years
If a player is only established in 9-Ball (does not have ten 8-Ball scores), then they must play one (1)skill level higher than their 9-Ball skill level. If a player does not have recent 8-Ball scores, and is currently a higher skill level in 9-Ball, then he/she will be evaluated and may be required to play at a higher skill level.
Must be on a 2026 Spring standard 8- or 9-ball team in Golden Gate APA
Modified Single Elimination
Rotating Shooting Order (Same order maintained across games)
Open Tables through the event!
Mini-tournaments all weekend!!!

$681 Team Package includes ($227 per player):

$465 (1 room for 3 nights, Thu to Sun)
$150 (Tournament entry fee)
$66 (CompuSport & Green fees)
Golden Gate APA players will be responsible for their own travel
