Remember there are no makeup matches in the last 4 weeks of play. Check with your players to see if they can play matches in advance, if they are going to miss a week of play. Make sure you notify me so I can release the score sheets on the app.

The fall TRI-ANNUAL TOURNAMENT will be in January. Make sure all of your players get at least 4 shoots in each format you are playing in before playoffs, so they are eligible to play. It is your Fall roster that plays in the TRI-ANNUAL.

Is your team playing in the Spring Session? Now is the time to ask them and find new players if you need one or two. Reach out to family, co-workers, friends and friends on social media. You can even ask people you see playing pool with their friends at the bar. You never know where you might find one.

THE LAST SINGLES BOARD FOR SPRING REGIONALS

Here is a list of the singles board dates through the end of November. You must be on an active Fall roster with 10 weekly plays in the last 2 years in the format you are shooting in and remain active if you qualify. The board winners will qualify for the Spring Regional. Regional winners will advance to the 2026 APA POOLPLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIPS in LAS VEGAS April/May 2026. Preregistration is required by 8pm the day before the board. Text 515-371-4094. Singles board date: NOVEMBER 8th 9 BALL. All boards are held at the Rack and start at 11am. We need at least 20 players to run a guaranteed qualifying board and you must stay until the end. If you drop out early you will not get your money back. Make sure you encourage your lower skill level players to try. They have the best odds at regionals and in Vegas.

Remember, you have to play to win!

JOKE OF THE WEEK

John was a clerk in a small drugstore but he was not much of a salesman. He could never find the item the customer wanted.
Bob, the owner, had about enough and warned John that the next sale he missed would be his last.
Just then a man came in coughing and he ask John for their best cough syrup.
Try as he might John could not find the cough syrup. Remembering Bob's warning he sold the man a box of Ex-Lax and told him to take it all at once.
The customer did as John said and then walked outside and leaned against a lamp post.
Bob had seen the whole thing and came over to ask John what had transpired.
"He wanted something for his cough but I couldn't find the cough syrup. I substituted Ex-Lax and told him to take it all at once" John explained.
"Ex-Lax won't cure a cough!" Bob shouted angrily.
"Sure it will" John said, pointing at the man leaning on the lamp post.
"Just look at him. He's afraid to cough!"
