OFFICE HOURS 9AM TO 5PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Last week the Rack Billiard Club installed drop boxes for all the leagues. The boxes are mounted between the dart boards and the jukebox on the east wall. Our box has a big APA sticker on the front. You will still pick up your envelopes at the bar, but you will now drop them off in the drop box.

In September 2026 we will be hosting the U.S. AMETUER REGIONAL QUALIFIER at the RACK BILLIARD CLUB. If you have never heard of the U.S AMETUER CHAMPIONSHIP, this is the chance to test your skill against some of the best amateur players in the country. THE LAST SINGLES BOARD FOR SPRING REGIONALS

Here is a list of the singles board dates through the end of November. You must be on an active Fall roster with 10 weekly plays in the last 2 years in the format you are shooting in and remain active if you qualify. The board winners will qualify for the Spring Regional. Regional winners will advance to the 2026 APA POOLPLAYERS CHAMPIONSHIPS in LAS VEGAS April/May 2026. Preregistration is required by 8pm the day before the board. Text 515-371-4094. Singles board date: NOVEMBER 8th 9 BALL. All boards are held at the Rack and start at 11am. We need at least 20 players to run a guaranteed qualifying board and you must stay until the end. If you drop out early you will not get your money back. Make sure you encourage your lower skill level players to try. They have the best odds at regionals and in Vegas.

Remember, you have to play to win!

JOKE OF THE WEEK

A young newly elected politician decided to get his first tailor-made suit. So he went to the finest tailor in town and got measured for a suit. A week later he went in for his first fitting. He put on the suit and he looked fabulous, he felt that in this suit he could impress his colleagues.
As he was preening himself in front of the mirror he reached down to put his hands in the pockets and to his surprise he noticed that there were no pockets. He mentioned this to the tailor who asked him, "Didn't you tell me you were a politician?"
The young man answered, "Yes, I did."
To this the tailor said, "Whoever heard of a politician with his hands in his own pockets?"
