APA NEWSLETTER FOR THE WEEK OF AUG 31st2025

OFFICE HOURS 9AM TO 5PM MONDAY THRU FRIDAY, CLOSED SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

Just a reminder that payments for weekly play are due by 11am the day following league play. Payments after that will have to be paid using venmo as well as a $2 late fee will be added, and you will lose your bonus points. I encourage everyone to pay after you submit your scores at the end of the night. This way you can avoid late fees and losing bonus points, which can’t be recovered. This also allows me to get scores updated sooner.

I have noticed that some of you are not liking the look of the new scorekeeper app. If you would like to go back to the look of the old app, I have a fix. When you open the scorekeeper app, click on your match, then in the upper right-hand corner you will see your initials. Click them and you will see “back to the old look”. Click that and you will be back to the old style.

I want to ask you to remind your teammates to read the weekly newsletter. The newsletters contain a lot of information from week to week. Some of the info in the newsletters are the same questions I get calls about. Don’t forget about all the upcoming dates that are listed, so you can add them to your calendar. The holidays are coming up. Make sure you check with your players who may be missing play around those dates so you can possibly play them in advance. Just let me know so I can release those dates on the scorekeeper app.

Finally, remember to hit the submit button at the end of the night for both matches.

Remember, you have to play to win!

A Chinese Doctor can't find a job in a Hospital in the US, so he opens his own clinic and puts a sign outside 'GET TREATMENT FOR $20 - IF NOT CURED GET BACK $100.' An American lawyer thinks this is a great opportunity to earn $100 and goes to the clinic. Lawyer: 'I have lost my sense of taste.' Chinese: 'Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22 and put 3 drops in patient's mouth.' Lawyer: 'Ugh. this is kerosene.' Chinese: 'Congrats, your sense of taste is restored. Give me $20.' The annoyed lawyer goes back after a few days to recover his money. Lawyer: 'I have lost my memory. I cannot remember anything.' Chinese: 'Nurse, bring medicine from box no. 22 and put 3 drops in his mouth.' Lawyer (annoyed): 'This is kerosene. You gave this to me last time for restoring my taste.' Chinese: 'Congrats. You got your memory back. Give me $20.' The fuming lawyer pays him, and then comes back a week later determined to get back $100. Lawyer: 'My eyesight has become very weak I can't see at all.' Chinese: 'Well, I don't have any medicine for that, so take this $100.' Lawyer (staring at the note): 'But this is $20, not $100!!' Chinese: 'Congrats, your eyesight is restored. Give me $20'
