73 players were qualified to compete in the 8-Ball and 9-Ball Singles Regional Championships held on the first weekend of March at TJ's Family Fun Center in McCook.

7 trips to the APA Poolplayer Championships in Las Vegas were awarded, plus $100 was paid out to each of the seven 2nd place players.

Players earning a spot in the Vegas Singles event receive $325 travel allowance to purchase airfare/drive, $100 National Qualifier prize money, APA goodie bag and complimentary lodging at Westgate Resort and Casino, site of the APA Championships.

Winning the championships and advancing to Vegas were...

8-Ball - Renae Garrels (Gibbon), EmIlene Sides (McCook), Tom Cash (Trenton), and Curtis Kappers (Beaver City).

9-Ball - Tiffany Glidden (Anselmo), De Holt (Bridgeport), and Zach Fogel (McCook).

Taking second place and earning $100 each were...

8-Ball - Gerald Peterman (Parks), Rick Haddix (Culbertson), Zach Fogel (McCook), and Rich DeRockbraine (Johnson Lake).

9-Ball -  Larry Lambrecht (Gibbon), Rick Haddix (Culbertson), and Curtis Kappers (Beaver City).

Two Qualify for Singles Regional

Two players have earned a spot in the 2027 9-Ball Singles Regional Championship after winning a Singles Qualifier held by Scott Bolinger at Bowl Mor in Alliance. Winners were Steven Ratner (North Platte), and Tala Olvera (Alliance). Once at Singles Regional, players compete with others at or near their own skill level for trips to the APA Poolplayer Championships in Las Vegas!

Anytime a player wishes to receive any earned patch, the player must request the patch in the fees section of the weekly league scoresheet or the comments in Scorekeeper app. Players must request their patches the week that they earned them or they may forfeit their right to request the patch.
