Carolina Classic Tournament

October 19, 2026 at 6:04 PM

The Carolina Classic Tournament is an Invitational tournament, played in Clemmons, North Carolina, for 2nd place finishers in the World Qualifiers. This was our inaugural year to be invited to this tournament and I accepted 6 spots, 3 for 8-ball and 3 for 9-ball. Our 2nd place 8-Ball finishers this year were: New Team In Town, Masterblasters (now Anything Can Happen) and Nobody's Fool. 8-Ball was held this past weekend with New Team In Town going 2 and out while Nobody's Fool and Anything Can Happen meeting in the quarter Finals. That grueling match ended at 3am with Anything Can Happen prevailing. Their semi-final match took place at 10am Sunday morning. They battled back from being down, 5-0, until the final game but lost and finished 3rd. Great run by our teams.

9-Ball teams will be playing November 6th weekend.

Host Locations

10/1/26 - 2:55 PM

I have recently received NUMEROUS complaints from players reagrding Host locations giving out incentives to play at their location. Examples are free table time to the home team, visiting teams table time paid directly to the home team which in turn uses that money to offset their league fees and free food. Host locations can offer any incentives that they like, they just have to be offered to ALL
