Here it is, we've talked about it and decided to move forward:

APA Northern Michigan Shindig

April 10th-12th 2026

Statewide Sportsdome in Houghton Lake

Main Team Event $500 Entry

  • Team Captain format. Lo to Hi Skill level alternating between 8 ball and 9 ball.
  • Race to 8. Finals will be a race to 13
  • Double Elimination.

(Finals will be a single set with an extended race)

  • All players must have atleast 10 scored matches in 8 ball or 9 ball within the last 2 years.

(We will not use combined scores)

  • Only 5 players allowed on a team
  • Max of 23 combined skill level for team match
  • Event will use highest of 8 ball or 9 ball skill level.

(Skill level 8's & 9's will count as 7 in this event)

  • Only two senior skill levels allowed in the match lineup.

(Skill level 6 or higher)

  • All players must be on a current and active team roster for Spring 2026 session.
  • Players must be from the same league area
  • Must be from Thumb Area or Saginaw Area APA ONLY
  • Players may only participate on one (1) team
  • Payout will be determined by total team count
  • Play will start Saturday morning at 9:00am Sharp!!

Attention Monday Teams!! APA Scorekeeper was down last night, if you took score on paper please input those scores into the APA Scorekeeper App and submit. And as a reminder, we always recommend Team Captains or someone carry blank score sheets just incase things like this happen. Score sheets are available online on our Linktree, And we email scores out weekly. So player numbers and skill levels
