Welcome to the Spring Session 2026 – the final session to qualify for the 2026 World Qualifier tournament! Please welcome our new teams and be good sports and help them out where needed! Let’s make it a fun experience for all teams.

Here are a few reminders and help for some of the new captains:

Payments: Weekly dues are $55 per team per week starting this session. Please zelle your weekly dues to: apazelle066@gmail.com by Friday at noon each week. Please put your team name, week number and team number – you can access this info when you open the scorekeeper app. If you are a first time “zeller” to this address, it will say “Suffolk Games Enterprises Inc.”.

Membership Dues: Please make sure everyone that plays has their membership paid the night they play or by the next morning. When you try to put up a player that is unpaid, you will get a notice that they need to pay. You don’t have to do it immediately BUT make sure the player pays. When we score the matches on Friday, if a player is not paid, you will lose any points they earned and you will NOT receive bonus points.

Adding New Players: Any team that needs to add someone new - please have them go to: join.poolplayers.com. Once they sign up and pay their membership, they will be issued a member number and will be immediately "searchable" in the scoring app so you can add them to you team. To do this, open your weekly match and on the main screen, you can scroll to your roster and click the "edit team" tab. Click the minus sign next to anyones name you wish to delete and click add player and search the persons name in the box.

Qualified Teams: All teams qualified for the WQ in June MUST have their members paid and their rosters finalized by week 4. Any changes after week 4 will result in a loss of qualification.

Snow Days: We will put a message out through the app, on the main page of the website and on our Facebook page: APA Pool League of Suffolk, NY. If we get a small amount of snow, we will declare a “snow day” – we won’t cancel but we will allow teams to schedule a make up with their opponents. We will ask you to talk with the other captain and decide what you both want to do. If we have a huge storm, we will cancel play and take a week off of the end of the schedule if we can. We will be sending out emails after the second week of play to all captains with the phone numbers of each other captain. Please make sure your cell phone and email address are correct in the app.

Team Captain Tournament: our 2026 Team Captain tournament will take place on Saturday, April 18th. In order to be eligible, you must have been a captain of and 8-Ball or 9-Ball team for at least 2 sessions in the Summer 2025, Fall 2025 or the Spring 2026. Ladies team captains count as 2 sessions because it is a year long format. All other formats do not count towards this event. This is a free tournament to all captains and we will be sending 2 captain teams to Vegas in August with a $2400 travel fund budget! Details to follow but for now, Save the Date!

Wishing everyone the best of luck this session!
