We just wanted to remind our members of 2 important events we have this weekend.

On Saturday May 4th there will be a Gary Hinkley 3 Person Toledo Style Memorial Tournament. Gary Hinkley a long time APA member recently passed and his teammates wanted to do a tournament in his memory. Keith Bryan who has done a great job getting this all organized has chosen the local charity HCA (Helping Celebrate Abilities) to donate raffle proceeds as well as any donations made. The field is already set with 16 teams but there will be plenty of raffles to get into to help support the cause. Doors at Post 82 will open @ 9am with pool play action to start at 10am. We will be running raffles all day so anyone who would like to can stop on down to watch some pool as well as get in raffles for a good cause while having a chance to win some great prizes. We will be trying a new scoring feature in CompuSport to run this event. See some of you tomorrow May 4th @ Post 82.

On Sunday May 5th the Fulton Polish Home in Fulton will be hosting a Chicken BBQ for one of our own Eric Smith. Eric has been Diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and has a long road ahead of him and needs our help. Along with the Chicken BBQ there will be raffles, 50/50 raffles as well as a Corn Hole Tournament. Start time is 12pm until the event is finished. There are pre-event tickets for sale. So Please contact Chad Sheldon at 315-402-0808 or members can call the Polish Home directly at 315-593-2875. Chad also has a nice Predator BK4 Break Cue & a 3X7 Elite pool case for raffle as well. $20 per ticket only 100 tickets to be sold.
