Nationwide Changes for All APA League Areas to Drive Consistency

What Has Changed

  • Terminology BLASTTri-Annuals, CitiesWorld Qualifiers
  • Approximately 25% more teams now qualify to earn prize money and participate in Tri-Annuals.
  • Tri-Annual winners will receive awards for their victory.
  • Just winning one round of playoffs now earns a team a spot in Tri-Annuals and prize money, with an opportunity to earn even more.
  • As a result of just playing one (1) playoff round teams will no longer earn awards for playoffs but can earn the Tri-Annual awards as the winner of their board.
  • Prize money has been shifted from division play to Tri-Annuals, giving more teams the opportunity to compete for and share in the rewards.
  • How and when the Players Fund will be distributed
  • Teams already qualified for World Qualifiers that win their division or one (1) round of playoffs again in any subsequent session within the league year will compete again in the session-ending Tri-Annual to earn prize money.

What Hasn’t Changed

  • Division winners still receive awards and earn a spot in Tri-Annuals (except divisions of 5 or less teams).
  • No change to the amount of the Players Fund
  • Regular session or the World Qualifiers format

No, the other team should have stopped you first and then you both need to agree on the 3rd party watching the shot. Failure to do so will result in the call going to the shooter
