Rule of the Week - Team Skill Level Limit (23 rule)

September 18, 2024 4:22 PM

by San Diego APA

Situation: I just posted my 5th player and realized posting them would break the 23-rule, do I have any options?

Yes, if you catch this before the rack is struck the post can be changed. A violation of the Team Skill Level Limit rule has officially occurred when the rack is struck in the individual match that causes the violation. If your opponent violates the Team Skill Level Limit, notify the opposing Team Captain.

Teams that break the *23 rule will lose all points earned that night. Players matches will count towards their matches played but the points earned for each match will be forfeited. In addition your opponent will recieve forfeit points for all matches starting with the match the 23 rule was broken.
