Rule of the Week - Makeup Matches

by San Diego APA

Situation: At the start of league night another matchup was in progress blocking our league table. The match was a makeup match from a previous week. Do they get to continue or does scheduled league play take priority?

Scheduled league play takes priority over a makeup match. Per the bylaws, makeup matches cannot interfere with scheduled league play.

The same requirement is true for Pre-Play matches.

Prior to league start time however a makeup can occur (teams per the bylaws when doing a pre-play or makeup match should be coordinating with their host location ahead of time).

Splitting Matches (Tables) - Rule of the Week
6/16/25 - 5:00 pm
Situation: The team you are playing is requesting to split tables, are we required to do so? Yes - A team match is normally played on one table.
