You can nominate yourself or nominate someone in the league (this person must be aware and agree to being nominated).

Minimum requirements include (no exceptions):

  • Good standings with the League Office.
  • Active members with a minimum of two years membership with the SDAPA.
  • Must play 2 or more nights of league in SDAPA.

We will close nominations on Fri Oct 22nd so we can move on to the next steps.

Nominations must be sent via email only (sandiego@apaleagues.com), please include the name of the nominee and the reason why they (or you) would be a good fit.

Approx Timeline and Next Steps:

  • Oct 22nd nominations closed.
  • Nov 12th discussion with candidates will be completed.
  • Nov 19th BOG will have closed out voting.
  • Nov 20th new BOG member will be made aware they have been selected.
  • New BOG member will join the next BOG meeting (early Dec).

Note: Only 1 BOG member will be added, the current BOG has the right to not approve any of the candidates.

Switching Coaches During a Timeout - Rule of the Week

Situation: My opponents team calls a timeout and one of the players on the team starts to give the timeout. After the coach has already talked to the player at the table they switch coaches to someone else on the team. Is this allowed? No, during their turn at the table, the shooter may discuss strategy only with the coach designated for that time-out. A coach may get a group consensus from othe
