by San Diego APA

Congrats to those teams that made the 2023 Spring Session Blast with a chance to qualify for this year’s Cities in June.

  • Your Spring Session ending roster will be your Blast roster (NOW POSTED).
  • We will NOT discuss any players skill levels for this event with anyone.
  • Doors open at 10am and 1st round starts at 11am.
  • Teams DO NOT have to check in or register upon arrival.
  • About 15 mins before your match scheduled start time we will run a quick meeting.
    • Following the meeting the referees will bring your scoresheets to your assigned table.
  • Awards as stated in the previous Blast post will be available for pickup approx. 30 mins after we start the first round.
    • We will not have 9-Ball Division winning and Playoff winning awards on Saturday (only Sunday during the 9-Ball Blast).
    • All other awards (patches, MVP, perfect session, etc) will be available both days.
  • We really like to get pictures of the Division and Playoff winning teams with your awards (win or lose) if possible, so please stop by the control desk with your team before you leave.
  • Division and Playoff winning checks can be picked up by the Captain either day.
    • If someone else from the team is picking up the check the captain MUST email or text us consent.
  • 2nd round Blast teams, please only send 1 person to the control desk if you have questions before your match starts (again no need to check in/register).
    • The 1st round has the largest number of teams. This, along with referees and us, makes space a little tight during this transition period.
  • The Blast is a single elimination event.
  • Teams already Cities qualified do not play in the Blast.

Please share this with your teammates to help make the day smoother for all.

Thanks and Good Luck This Weekend!

Scot & Liza
