Hello, San Diego Pool Players!

We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves to you as the new League Operators of San Diego APA! We are beyond excited to immerse ourselves into the San Diego County pool community and want to assure you that we will continue to provide professional, top-notch customer service, and are committed to find refreshing ways to make this pool league the best entertainment experience that you’ve come to expect from the San Diego APA.

Who We Are

We met in the Orange County APA where we both played for 5-6 years. We have both competed at the highest level of team and singles championships in every APA format, but that is not to brag about our accomplishments as pool players (because we are very beatable and have lots of "Beat the LO" patches to give away!), and was only meant to let you know that we value what APA has to offer, and we have personal familiarity with the league that we want every player to experience at whatever level he/she wants to achieve.

In 2006, we became League Operators in the neighboring South Orange County APA, where some of you may have seen or met us at the at the control table of the Southwest Challenge or at Singles Regional events. We have been operating the league for 15 years and have earned respect from both players and colleagues, so we hope that you feel confident in our ability to operate one of the best and largest pool league areas in the APA network.

What to Expect

Our plan is business-as-usual through the rest of the 2021-22 League Year (the current 2021 Fall Session and the upcoming 2022 Spring Session). We will keep the same structure and prizes, and will continue to run the same programs, including Singles and Juniors. In fact, Liza will be attending the Junior Academy this Saturday, October 9th, at Pockets Billiards & Brew, if you want to stop by and say hi!

During this transition, we will be evaluating what works and what we may be able to improve from an operational perspective and from the player perspective. So stay tuned as we find the best communication channels to gather player feedback and continue to make San Diego APA the best place to play!
