by San Diego APA

πŸ“£πŸ“£ ATTENTION ALL CITY CHAMPIONSHIP PARTICIPANTS πŸ“£πŸ“£

Both the San Diego APA and Pockets Billiards & Brew will be requiring that ALL participants in the City Championship Tournaments this weekend and next weekend strictly follow the APA Play Safe Campaign (see below).

In addition, Pockets asks that you show up to your match NO SOONER THAN 20 minutes prior to your scheduled match time. All participants will be required to remain outside until then. If you want to practice before the event, there are several places in the vicinity where you can likely shoot some balls around before your match.

ALSO, WE HAVE ADJUSTED THE MATCH TIMES TO ALLOW MORE TIME IN BETWEEN ROUNDS SO WE CAN KEEP CAPACITY LEVELS AS LOW AS POSSIBLE. THE UPDATED SCHEDULES HAVE BEEN POSTED AND YOU CAN HELP US OUT BY LETTING US KNOW YOU RECEIVED THE MEMO BY SENDING US AN EMAIL at bfrankland@apaleagues.com

APA PLAY SAFE CAMPAIGN

1. If you have tested positive for Covid-19 within the last 3 weeks, or if you don't feel well or have a fever, please stay home.

2. Masks will be mandatory for ALL participants whether vaccinated or not. This means players must wear masks AT ALL TIMES, except in the process of ACTIVELY eating or drinking – this means no walking around with a beer in hand and considering it drinking….no just having food in front of you and considering it eating….you must be in the ACTIVE PROCESS of putting liquid in your mouth or food in your mouth to have your mask off temporarily. So take a sip, put your mask right back on…. Take a bite, put your mask right back on. ALSO, players must wear masks while shooting. 😷

3. Use your own equipment and disinfect your equipment between uses.

4. Use hand sanitizer frequently and wash your hands with soap and water before and after your match.πŸ™Œ

5. No handshakes. Find another way to express your respect for your opponent such as a verbal "good game" or thumbs up. πŸ‘

6. No lagging. Please flip a coin to determine the break.

7. Keep some distance. Do your best to social distance. 6 feet is the length of a cue stick held at arm's length. πŸ–

8. Be courteous of each other! πŸ˜ƒ

9. YOU WILL ALSO BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A SHIRT, SHOES AND PANTS (or shorts/skirt of appropriate length)!!!!! πŸ˜‚

DON'T GET CAUGHT WITH YOUR MASK OR YOUR PANTS DOWN!

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE FOR DOING YOUR PART TO KEEP YOUR TEAMMATES SAFE
