🌟 Pulse Update – Week 4

Hello Jacksonville APA family!

We’re rolling into Week 4 and there’s a lot of exciting action behind the scenes right now. Here's a quick note on what's going on so you don't miss any of the good stuff coming up:

🎱 Upcoming Events

  • Tri-Annuals are this weekend — good luck to all teams competing! Review that info, posted here 👉 https://league.poolplayers.com/jacksonville/post/47986 
  • We’re also busy in the office prepping for the Southeast Challenge (Sept. 5-9), so stay tuned for more updates as we get closer.

🏆 MVP Recognition

You’ll start seeing MVP posts this week celebrating our Summer Session winners (8-Ball: Oct. 18, 9-Ball: Oct. 19; times are by skill level group and posted on the calendar). Be sure to cheer them on when you spot their names — it’s always fun to celebrate your fellow players!

📌 League Play Reminders

  • This is the final week where you can play someone twice in a match, if needed.
  • Makeup matches must always be approved in advance — please reach out before scheduling one.
  • This is also the last week you can make your own roster changes directly in the Scorekeeper App. Beginning next week, any roster changes will need to go through the office — just send us a quick text and we’ll be happy to update it for you.

🎯 Singles News & Opportunities

  • Southeast Challenge: Alongside team play, the event will feature a packed MiniMania schedule, which will be released later this week.
  • USAM Prelim (Sept. 19–21): Player details will be updated soon on the website — check back to stay in the loop.
  • Fall Singles Regionals (Oct. 4 for 8-Ball, Oct. 5 for 9-Ball): Player info is coming soon! Please make sure your email address is up to date in your APA profile so you don’t miss these important updates.
  • Volunteer Call: We’re building a Singles Board calendar running September 1 through November 30, and we need volunteers to help run them. If you’d like to be part of making this happen, text the office to volunteer, 904-585-8180 — your support makes a big difference!
