I had to make some last-minute changes to the summer session schedule.

• The minimum match requirement will be 4 to be eligible for playoffs.
• Playoff dates are always posted in the schedule of your division.

With the summer schedule being released, I am also making electronic scoresheets available.

PLEASE DO NOT "PRACTICE" USING THE APP. Scoresheets are live.

When starting the matches in scorekeeper, be patient!! Do not repeatedly click the button. It will start multiple matches.

If you would like to use the app you will still need to use paper scoresheets as a backup for two weeks to ensure proper scorekeeping. They must still be emailed and sent in. It doesn't matter the week you decide to start with scorekeeper, you still need 2 weeks of paper to go along with it.

I highly suggest that teams carry blank scoresheets as a backup in case anything were to happen with internet or cell coverage.

After you get the "go ahead" from me, you'll be set to just use the app. League team dues will still need to be mailed (check) or dropped in the box at VTPB. Divisions who play out of VTPB do not have the option to mail. Dues must be dropped on the night of play. There will be envelopes above the drop box at VTPB. Please look for your team. Do not seal the envelopes.

Things you will still need to do with the Scorekeeper app:

• 8-Ball - Make sure the correct players are in the match and the scores match. DO not match up innings or defensive shots.
• 9-Ball - Make sure the correct players are in the match and after EVERY RACK that the ball count (score) is correct. Do not match up innings or defensive shots.

Regardless of if you are using paper or the app, both teams must mark down S8, E8, 8WP, AND 8B, 8BR, 9S, 9BR.

ANY NEW PLAYER JOINING YOUR TEAM MUST BE TAUGHT TO KEEP SCORE ON PAPER. This will continue until APA goes completely digital. Any new player joining APA must sign up online BEFORE playing so they can be added to your team.

** Both teams do not need to use the app. If one team wants to still use paper, they may do that. However, Spring Session, we will only be using the app unless your division has an internet issue.

For those who print scoresheets at VTPB, the printer will no longer be available after 8-Ball WQ's. (June 1st)

NEW HOST LOCATION

The new Pool Hall in St. Albans, Chalk It Up, has agreed to have APA League starting this summer. We'll be putting together a double jeopardy division (8-Ball & 9-Ball) that plays Sunday afternoons. This means you can play in one or both divisions. They will run at the same time just like the two Thursday 9-Ball divisions at VTPB.

If you know anyone in that area, let them know!
