That's a Wrap... Vegas 2024.. see ya next year

The 2024 APA World Pool Championships have come to a close with Baton Rouge APA making a fine showing in the pool department and an even better showing in the having fun category!

9-ball team and Jack and Jill scotch doubles anchored the events with 9-ball team Gone Rogue finishing in the money in a tie for 65th out of 635 teams. Pocket Mafia and Betty's Black Bull Wranglers finished in a tie for 129th - just one spot away from cashing in the event.

In all, four of 14 teams cashed in the main events with several others doing well in the mini events and making a little Vegas walking around $$$. Unfortunately not Angela Winfree and I, as the old league operator played like an old league operator and went poof after just one round in the single elimination mini event (sorry Ang! but at least it was hill-hill)

Now it's time to cue it up for Vegas 2025! Summer tri cups on Sept. 7-8 get the qualifications for the Baton Rouge APA World Qualifiers started!

Team Captain's: Please note that any unpaid members with regards to annual dues have now been removed from rosters. So if you are missing a player from your team, you know why. Will the team be able to add the player back to the roster? Sure... but they will need to pay their annual dues prior to that happening.
