Thankfully, despite the storm taking a little jog to the east and sliding right over the Volz homestead, this is not a picture of my car or neighborhood... although a tree did fall taking out two sections of my fence... but all in all not too bad...

After reaching out to our host locations, thankfully it seems they are in good order and I hope you all are as well.

I know some still are without power and if you need to reschedule your match tonight please feel free to do so.

But since I've heard from almost all locations for play tonight, we are good to go to resume play.

Team Certification forms and Greens fees due date

Tomorrow is the due date for both the World Qualifier certification forms as well as the greens fees for those teams qualified.We are still missing items from several teams....On Monday we will post the "tardy list" and publicly shame all those who are unable to get this simple task complete. Then I will start the process of having to track you down and look at you disapprovingly.But seriously, pl

Poolplayer Championships - Vegas wrap up

Vegas Wrap upAs of Saturday morning...The 2026 Poolplayer Championships are a wrap for Baton Rouge APA members with a solid showing producing two top-5 finishes among the seven events. Wrapping the event for our contingent was Anthony Bamugo who had a great run in 9-ball singles. He advanced all the way to the final bracket losing out late last night and finishing in a tie for 5th place! Marquise
