The Tucson APA will have a qualifying tournament for the 8-Ball APA Southwest Challenge. The winners of this event will earn the last slot from Tucson to participate in the 8-Ball Southwest Challenge in Vegas in March. See details for the tournament below.

When: Saturday February 14th, doors open at 11am, tourney starts at noon

Where: Clicks Billiards, 3325 N. 1st Ave.

Format: 3-Person Team, Single Modified Bracket (subject to change based on number of entries on tournament day). This means you are guaranteed 2 matches, but not necessarily 2 losses.

How Much: $75 per team. All entry fees will go to the winning teams SWC entry.

Additional Information:

• Three-person teams with a combined Skill Level Limit of 14; only one SL 6 or 7 per team; male 2s allowed
• Players must have a minimum of ten 8-ball or ten 9-ball scores and must be on a 2025 Spring 8-ball or 9-ball roster. (If only playing on a 9-Ball Roster, you may have to play at 1 skill level higher).
• This is a modified single elimination tournament (guaranteed 2 chances to play), and each team match is a race to 2 individual APA 8-Ball matches.
• Players must stay in the same rotating shooting order submitted. The 1st match is played by the 1st player listed on the roster, and the 2nd match by the 2nd player. If the team wins 2-0, the 3rd player will play first in the next round, followed by the 1st player on the roster.
• Only one time-out per rack, regardless of Skill Level
