Saturday, May 16

Jimmy's Billiards opens at 10:00 AM and play begins at 10:30 AM

The first round and the second round will be on 1 table and we will use the sudden death rules.

The last round will be played on 2 tables.

Not everyone needs to be there at 10:00 AM check here for your teams start time.

A few tips to help you avoid sudden death.

Put up the players for the next match before the current match is finished.  That gives the players a chance to use the bathroom before their match starts.  The players in the second match should be lagging for the break within 1 minute of the end of the previous match.

Keep your Timeouts to 1 minute or less.  

Pace of play - 20 seconds for a routine shot 45 seconds for a difficult shot.  If you have slow players it is now time to speed them up.  Police your own team, team captains should be telling their own players to speed up.

9 Ball Tri Annual Tournament - Saturday, May 9 at Lucky Shot Billiards at 10:00 AM. Lucky Shots will open at 9:00. All teams start play at 10:00 AM 9 Ball Tri Annual Bracket Play will be on 1 Table and we will be using sudden death to finish at a reasonable time. I want to thank all of you for your continued participation in the South Bay APA. With the start of the new league year, I have a few important updates to share ahead of the coming session: • League Fee Increase: The weekly league fee will be increasing from $40/week to $50/week. It has been 10 years since the last increase, and this adjustment will allow the league to cover rising operating expen
