I'm trying to register for the upcoming 9-Ball doubles, 8-Ball doubles, Jack and Jill 8-Ball doubles, or Team Captain tournaments but I can't log in to the website. I get an error message that says "Unauthorized User" every time I try.

No worries, it's an easy fix! It has something to do with when you set up your account initially, the process to claim your account was not completed 100%.

The first option and the easiest is to select "forgot my password" from the app login screen. go to the email account that you gave when you signed up and tap the link you just received to change your password, Bam, problem solved. - This is why it's important to give us a good email address!

If by chance that does not work, follow these easy steps and you'll be good to go.

Go to join.poolplayers.com and scroll to the bottom of the page under the 3 options:

1. New Members: Join Now,

2. Current Member: Claim your Account, and

3. Returning Member: Join Again;

Under those is a list of 3 other options. You want to select the 3rd one that says "I never received the email to complete my registration - Retrieve Your Sign Up Verification Email"

Follow the prompts to get your verification email and Bam problem solved.

You will now be able to sign into the website to register for all tournaments.
