Good evening everyone,

I just wanted to take a moment and reach out to our members about the dates for restarting of the DeWitt And McLean APA. At this time we are pushing our tentative start date to Monday, July 20th.

We understand many players are anxious to get back to the tables and resume activity, and we encourage those folks to support your local host locations as they work on opening back up. This week is the first that they have been allowed to reopen for indoor service and activities, with safety guidelines and restrictions on capacity and social distancing.

At the same time, many of our members are uncertain about resuming play. They or their loved ones are considered higher-risk, and there are still new cases being reported in McLean County. The reopening of bars and indoor dining has had a large impact on positive cases throughout the nation, often not identified until weeks later. We feel pushing back our tentative start will help us have a clearer picture on the status of the pandemic here in Central Illinois.

We will continue to reach out to captains and members, as information becomes available, until we are operational. We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work through this.

There will still be a separate World Pool Qualifier (city tournament)
Tuesday Night Division 281 play suspended

Yesterday the league office was contacted, one of our members in division 281 tested positive for Covid-19. We have contacted all the teams involved in their last two weeks of matches, as well as the remaining captains of teams within the division. Current protocols involve a two-week quarantine from all league activities, and with there only being two remaining weeks in the session, we have dec
