Hello TCT Family, 

It's that time of year again! Time to join a team and register for our Straight to Vegas Captains Tournament. It's a 1 day tournament that will result in 1 team going to Las Vegas, in August 2026 to compete in our APA World Team Captains Championship Tournament!

WHERE: Fast Eddie's - Terrell, TX

WHEN: Saturday, June 20th, 9am registration.  

HOW: Registration ONLINE only. Please use the link below by 5pm, Thursday, June 18th, 2026.(no calls or texts to register).

ENTRY: $200 per team; combined handicap 15 MAX; modified single elimination

WHO: All team members for this tournment must have been a CAPTAIN on an 8 or 9 ball teams with Tri County Texas APA at least 2 sessions from either Summer 2025, Fall 2025 or Spring Spring 2026. Plesae ask your Division Rep for more details.

--A maximum of 5 players allowed on roster. 

--Teams may choose any 3 of the 5 team members to participate in each match.

--The total of the skill levels of the 3 players fielded in any team match cannot exceed 15. 

--A player’s highest skill level between formats (8-Ball & 9-Ball) must be used towards the 15-Rule. 

--Skill levels more than two years old will not be used in this event. Skill levels and scores must be current to be applicable. 

--Skill level 8/9s from 9 Ball will be considered 7's in this tournament. 

--Only one player of skill level 6 or higher, sometimes referred to as a senior skill level player, may play in any given match. 

--Players may only participate on one team. 

--Players must be from TCT league area. 

--Modified Single Elimination Format 

--Alternate between 8-Ball & 9-Ball racks, starting with 8-Ball. Each individual rack is worth one team point. . 

--Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball scores or twenty (20) 9-Ball scores within the last two (2) years by the entry deadline. A combination of scores from the two formats is not allowed. 

--Players must have completed two (2) sessions as a Team Captain of a standard 8-Ball, 9-Ball, or Ladies team from Summer 2025 through Spring 2026. Players are not allowed to captain two teams in the same session and still be eligible for this event.  

--Players must have played at least four (4) times in the Spring Session in the League area the team represents.
