Welcome and Good Luck to all the teams playing this weekend in the Thumb Area APA 8 Ball World Qualifier!!!

We have 21 teams playing this weekend. We will be running two (2) separate brackets for this weekends event. Some will play Friday evening and some will play Saturday morning. Please review the brackets to make sure you know your match times for this weekend.

Thumb Area APA is advancing two (2) teams to the World Pool Championship in Las Vegas this August and two (2) teams will advance to the Great lakes Invitational in March 2026 (Second place teams from the WPQ)

Team will be scheduled on split tables most the weekend, if your team is ahead of the bracket or the last round of the day and ahead of time it may be allowed to play on a single table. The finals for both brackets will have the option to split tables or play on one table.We are splitting tables due to time factors.

If we are way ahead of time Saturday we may play the semi finals Saturday evening. We scheduled the rounds this way to make it easier and more pleasant on the teams.

We have posted copies of the rules and the certification form on Linktree. Please be familiar with all the Higher Level Tournament rules. We will have a players meeting prior to beginning on Friday and Saturday.

Players must all sign the certification form and certify their skill levels. Any player that does not sign will not be allowed to play or be considered part of the team for this event.

All players will start this event at their Highest Attainable skill level. Players can drop or go up in skill level during this event
