Happy March Y'all!

This weeks question only stumped a few of you, so YAY! As a recap:

If anyone from your team states in any form, would you like a timeout, are you as the player allowed to deny the timeout?

If you said 'no' you are CORRECT!

The only time a timeout can be denied is if the PLAYER calls a timeout; then the team/captain can deny the player.

You can find this on page 29 in the APA Team Manual under Coaching section d. and e.

"d. If any member of the team suggests a time-out to the shooter, the time-out will be charged.

e. If the shooter requests a time-out, the coach may refuse it and no time-out will be charged."
