Let’s have some fun!! This tournament is a “Fast 8” Doubles tournament with an April Fools twist. Anyone who is an active APA player can play. Skill levels will be determined by your highest skill level between 8 & 9 ball. Maximum combined skill level is 10.

GAME OBJECTIVE – Shoot all of one category of ball (lowest to highest), then make the 8-ball to win.

GAME SETUP – Rack like 9-ball with only balls 1-4, 9-12 and the 8 ball in the middle. The 1 ball must be at the front of the rack.

AFTER THE BREAK – You will take whichever category of balls is made on the break, (still open if both are made). Scratching on the break is a ball in hand foul from anywhere on the table. Making the 8-ball on the break is not a win, instead the 8-ball is placed on the foot spot and the game continues.

PLAY – You must shoot your balls in numeric order (lowest to highest). If a ball is pocketed after the incorrect ball is hit, then the pocketed ball is spotted and the next player shoots. Whoever pockets the 8-ball wins.

**All other APA rules apply.

Prior to the match each team will select 3 cards that can be used against their opponents during the match. Only one card may be used per rack.

Examples:

- Shoot your next shot with your cue behind your back

- Shoot with the butt of your cue

- Play a safe even if you have a direct shot

- Use a bridge on the next shot

Plus many more.
