Important Public Hearing for Fairway Billiards Reopening
We want to ensure that all members of the Oswego/Fulton area UpState APA pool league are informed about a crucial public hearing regarding Kim Gibbs' plans to reopen Fairway Billiards in Granby. The venue will have new ownership and a new name. If you haven't heard, the hearing is set for Wednesday, April 1st, at 7 PM at the Granby Town Hall, located at 1909 St RT 3, next to Dunkin Donuts. And to clarify, this is definitely not an April Fools’ joke—it's a very real and significant meeting.
Why This Hearing Matters
The Fulton area is in urgent need of another pool room, not only to support the future growth of the APA and billiards but also to provide additional avenues for recreation and entertainment. Kim's business plan promises to greatly benefit the community as a whole.
How You Can Support
We are encouraging any league member who does not have a pool league commitment on April 1st to attend the hearing and show their support. Your presence will highlight to the board members the importance of another venue in our area.
Team Cooperation
We also ask teams to collaborate if opposing teams are short of players due to teammates attending this critical hearing. Teams anticipating a shortage should reach out to the opposing team in advance to arrange a partial makeup match.
Your cooperation and support are greatly appreciated as we all wish Kim Gibbs the best of luck at her upcoming hearing. Let’s come together to support a venture that promises to enrich our community.
