Entry - $80 per team (with 32 teams) *READ BELOW*
Teams that signed up MUST pay their full team entry fee (no partial entry fees accepted) via Zelle by 12:00pm Friday 1/17/25. Please note both player's names and team name on message. Teams that have not paid their entry by this time will lose their spot and the top waitlist team will then be offered that spot. No refunds will be given after 12:00pm Friday 1/17/25 unless your spot can be filled. All paid entries will be updated on the Facebook post every few days until the event. If you can not Zelle for any reason you will then need to have a friend, family member or teammate Zelle your entry for you. Please make sure they include your name when sending the payment.
PRIZES:
Winners will receive travel assistance and entry to compete at the National APA Jack & Jill Championship in Las Vegas at the Westgate between April 27-30, 2025!
Runner Up will receive travel assistance and entry to compete at the St. Jude Shoot for a Cure 8-Ball Doubles in Tunica, MS between December 3-7, 2025.
$160 + a reserved spot in next year's J&J qualifier
APA apparel and/or prizes + a reserved spot in next year's J&J qualifier
Disclaimer: The first few spots are reserved for last year's top 4 teams if they ARE STILL INTACT and have not already signed up. They will have a chance to claim them before passed to the next teams.
RULES:
Max 10 Handicap Combined
Double Elimination
Teams must consist of 1 male and 1 female player
Any combo with max handicap 10 or less can form a team
Teams that are handicap 8 or less will have to win less games
Alternate shot
Max 32 teams
One coach per team per game will be allowed.
No "walk-by" coaching.
Eligibility Requirements:
Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball scores within the last two (2) years. This stat can be found on your player profile on the APA app.
Players must be on an active (Spring Session) APA roster in any 8-Ball format in the West Suburban Chicago APA.
It is each team's responsibility to look up whether each team member is eligible on the APA app - player profile page. All signups are time stamped by the date they are entered on the Facebook flyer or sent via text. Once 32 teams have signed up by providing all required information a waitlist will begin being generated. The team list and waitlist will be updated every few days on the Facebook post.
The 2nd place prize is dependent on the West Suburban Chicago APA receiving spots for the St. Jude Shoot for a Cure event in Tunica, MS. ONLY if spots are not available would the 2nd place finisher then receive the travel assistance and entry as a cash prize.
IMPORTANT: Players can not compete at both the Jack & Jill Championship and either the 8-Ball Singles or 8-Ball Doubles.
