(Best Chance Boards last approximately 3-4.5 hours)

Entry Fee: $60 per player per each 16 player board (Double Elimination+) You can not go 0-2 and out on these boards - players that go 0-2 get moved to another board where 1/4 still wins!

What is a BEST CHANCE BOARD?

The Best Chance Singles Board is a 16 player Double Elimination board that QUALIFIES 8 PLAYERS for the upcoming Singles Regional event in October 2024. See image below. It gives players the security of a Double Elimination tournament with better odds to qualify. Players also are separated into groups of handicaps if possible. Example.. lower handicaps on top and higher handicaps on bottom.

Best Chance Boards MUST have exactly 16 players so a short waitlist will be started for each board. Waitlist players should be available and could be contacted as late as the afternoon of the event.

• If your Zelle account is linked to a debit card and not a bank account you may not be able to send to our business account. If that is the case you can set your account up differently or you can always have someone else send it for you but just be sure to tell me who is sending it.

Only once both are complete will your spot be secured.

There will be no same day refunds so if you signed up but can't attend you must let the League Office know by 3/8 to receive a refund of your entry fee.

Players can not sign up for 2 boards in the same format because you may qualify and exactly 16 players are needed for all Best Chance Boards. We can put you on the waitlist for the 2nd board in the same desired format if you would like.

If your handicap changes between signing up and the date of the qualifier you will not lose your spot. You would just play with the appropriate handicap on the same board.

Prize: Entry to the Fall 2024 Regional event in October!

At Regionals players play a board of up to 16 players of same or similar handicap where winners will win a trip to Las Vegas to compete in the APA Singles Championships in May-April 2025! At the APA Singles Championships in Las Vegas winners of each skill tier for each format win $10k-15k!

Am I qualified to play in this Qualifier Tournament?

Players must have a minimum of 10 APA matches within the past 2 years in the format (8-Ball/9-Ball) that they wish to play. All entrants must be current APA members and must be listed on the roster of an active Spring Session APA team in the format they wish to play in the West Suburban Chicago APA. Players who play in multiple areas will play at their highest handicap. Same as higher level play, males can not play as less than Sl 3. Players can not play at a lower handicap than they are currently required to play at the upcoming March 2024 Regional and/or the World Qualifier event.

Both the October 2024 Regional and March 2025 Regional feed into the April-May 2025 APA Pool Players Championships in Las Vegas. The 2025 Pool Player Championships will be the first year that Jack & Jill, Masters Teams, and Ladies Teams will also be at this Spring event. It should be one to remember!
