APA 9 BALL DOUBLES LAS VEGAS QUALIFIER

1. Winners will receive travel assistance and entry to compete at the APA Poolplayer Championships - 9-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas at the Westgate between April 30 - May 3, 2024!
2. Runner-Up will ALSO receive travel assistance (slightly less) and entry to compete at the APA Poolplayer Championships - 9-Ball Doubles Championship in Las Vegas at the Westgate between April 30 - May 3, 2024!
3. 3rd Place will receive a small prize and invite to the 2025 local 9-Ball Double Qualifier event.

When - February 3, 2024 (Saturday)

Entry - $80 per team (with 32 teams) *READ BELOW*

Teams that signed up MUST pay their full team entry fee (no partial entry fees accepted) via Zelle by 12:00pm Friday 2/2/24. Please note both player's names and team name on message. Teams that have not paid their entry by this time will lose their spot and the top waitlist team will then be offered that spot. No refunds will be given after 12:00pm 2/2/24. All paid entries will be noted on the Facebook flyer post. Zelle payments go to the League Office via the QR code provided below.

Early registration will help ensure that the tournament will start on time and that we aren't looking to fill spots 15 minutes after the tournament has begun. Any team that does not have Zelle still has until the deadline (6 days from now) to either set one up or find someone to send the entry for you. Teams can not pay by putting cash in team folders. Thank you for helping to expedite the registration process.

• Any combo with max handicap 10 or less can form a team
• Alternate shot
• Max 32 teams
• One coach per team per game will be allowed.
• No "walk-by" coaching.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Players must have at least twenty (20) 9-Ball scores within the last two (2) years. This stat can be found on your player profile on the APA app.
• Players must be on an active (Spring Session) APA roster in any 9-Ball format in the West Suburban Chicago APA.

You may not be signed up without including all required information. It is each team's responsibility to look up whether each team member is eligible on the APA app - player profile page. All signups are time stamped by the date they are entered on the Facebook flyer. Once 32 teams have signed up by providing all required information a waitlist will begin being generated. The team list and waitlist will be updated periodically on the Facebook post. Teams that no-call no-show will lose the ability to sign up for future APA events.

Please be aware that in Las Vegas at the APA Poolplayer Championships in April/May there will be overlap between 9-Ball Doubles & 8-Ball Singles. Players should not plan on playing in both events as there will be schedule conflicts and play times are not adjusted to accommodate in such a large event. If a player is 8-Ball Singles Vegas qualified and wins this event their partner will be able to pick another qualified player to compete with in Las Vegas.

Players can only play max 10 handicap in Qualifier events but if they move up between now and the Poolplayer Championships they still can compete as long as they do not exceed max 12 handicap.

The last few spots are reserved for last year's top teams if they have not already signed up and remain intact from last year's event. They will have a chance to claim them before passed to the next teams.
