1. Winners will receive travel assistance and entry to compete at the National APA Doubles 8-Ball Championship in Las Vegas at the Westgate between April 30 - May 4, 2024!
2. Runner Up will receive travel assistance and entry to compete at the St. Jude Shoot for a Cure 8-Ball Doubles in Tunica, MS between December 1-8, 2024.

Sign up opens at 12:00 PM today. To sign up - you must comment with both player's names, individual handicaps and team name on the 8-Ball Doubles Facebook post in our group at:

Teams that do not have Facebook will need to text ALL of the required information to the League Office at 630-346-5609. That information will then be copied and pasted to the Facebook post to sign up.

Entry - $80 per team (with 32 teams) *READ BELOW*

Teams that signed up MUST pay their full team entry fee (no partial entry fees accepted) via Zelle by 12:00pm 1/12/24. Please note both player's names and team name on message. Teams that have not paid their entry by this time will lose their spot and the top waitlist team will then be offered that spot. No refunds will be given after 12:00pm 1/12/24. Send Zelle entries to the League Office phone number: "630 346 5609". All paid entries will be noted on the Facebook post.

We needed to adopt the pre pay registration due to too many no-show players and teams in past events. This will also help ensure that the tournament will start on time and that we aren't looking to fill spots 15 minutes after the tournament has begun. Any team that does not have Zelle still has until the deadline (6 days) to either set one up or find someone to send the entry for you. Teams can not pay by putting cash in team folders because it may not be received by the deadline. Thank you for helping to expedite the registration process.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Players must have at least twenty (20) 8-Ball scores within the last two (2) years. This stat can be found on your player profile on the APA app.
• Players must be on an active (Spring Session) APA roster in any 8-Ball format in the West Suburban Chicago APA.

You may not be signed up without including all required information. It is each team's responsibility to look up whether each team member is eligible on the APA app - player profile page. All signups are time stamped by the date they are entered on the Facebook flyer. Once 32 teams have signed up by providing all required information a waitlist will begin being generated. The team list and waitlist will be updated periodically on the Facebook post. Teams that no-call no-show will lose the ability to sign up for future APA events.

Please be aware that in Las Vegas at he APA Poolplayer Championships in April/May there may be overlap between 9-Ball Singles and 8-Ball Doubles.

The 2nd place prize is dependent on the West Suburban Chicago APA receiving spots for the St. Jude Shoot for a Cure event in Tunica, MS. ONLY if spots are not available would the 2nd place finisher then receive the travel assistance and entry as a cash prize instead.
