Monthly* Masters League starts Monday, July 22nd, 2024

Play 12 Mondays (plus playoffs) at 7:00pm from July through February

Traveling division (select your home location)!

This league is ideal for players who want to compete in a non-handicapped event with great players. 

Teams of 3-4 players challenge their skills in both 8-Ball and 9-Ball.   

$30 Team Fee per Month

Team Match consists of 3 Individual Matches, each a Race to 7

Teams may choose any 3 of the 4 team members to participate in each team match.

Team earns points for every game won by each individual.

Playoff matchups will be based on point rankings at the end of regular session.

U.S. Amateur Rules & Format

Race to 7 with combination of 8-Ball (5 racks) and 9-Ball (8 racks)

Winner of the lag has choice of game (8- or 9-Ball) or the break.

The entire set of that format must be completed before moving to the next format.

Use of Jump Cues is allowed ♦ No Timeouts ♦No Handicaps

The *playoff winner will advance to the annual APA Masters Championship in Las Vegas!!!

(* number of teams advancing is dependent upon the amount of slots allocated to SOCAPA)

The Championship event for 2025 (and moving forward) will be held in conjuction with the APA Poolplayer Championships in Late-April/Early-May.

Player Requirements for Advancing to the Championships

Players must have at least 10 scores 8-Ball and/or 9-Ball and/or Masters within the last one-year period by the entry deadline of March 3rd, 2025. (A combination of scores from the three formats is allowed, i.e. matches played can be in either the standard 8-Ball or 9-Ball format or on a Masters team.)
