Since we were unable to run MVP tournaments this year, all MVP winners from the 2020 Spring Session and the 2021 Summer Session have received an email containing a $32 voucher that may used towards any singles local qualifier board in South OC APA! 

We will also be distributing MVP awards and patches on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Mulligans from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and will be running Last Chance Singles Local Qualifiers Boards where MVPs can use their vouchers and PLAY FOR FREE! 

The qualifying window to play in the Spring Singles Regional normally ends on November 30th, but we have an extension to run them on December 4th, and if you win your local board, you will advance to the Spring Singles Regional that we will be running in San Diego county on March 5-6, 2022. There is no additional entry fee for the regional event, where local qualifiers will compete within their skill level tiers and have approximately a 1 in 16 chance to advance to the 2022 Poolplayer Championships (Singles Nationals) with a FREE TRIP to VEGAS!

To be eligible to play, players must be on a current roster (in the applicable format in any APA league area) and must have ten scores in the last 2 active league years (in the applicable format).

We have limited slots for the singles boards that we will be running on December 4th, and we plan to run tiered boards that so that players will compete against similar skill levels. MVPs will have first dibs to play, however, every active APA player is welcome to play. Please email southoc@apaleagues.com so we can give you a better timeframe for when you will play.

If you are unable to play on December 4th, but you still want to try to qualify for the Spring Singles Regional, then you may run a board on your own with three other active players from any location, even your home! Send an email to southoc@apaleagues.com for details and materials needed to run a board. If you cannot play from now until the deadline, MVPs may use vouchers in the future, since they do not expire, or the vouchers can be given to another active player since they are also transferable.
