9-Ball TriCup Bracket
This weekend’s 9Ball Tricup Bracket is now available! Eligibility rosters will be posted Tuesday evening. Reminder that play will begin Friday, February 9th at 7pm at Cuephoria.
With growth comes change. Not only are there more teams than ever before playing in 9Ball Tricups this session, but reminder that we will also be sending a 3rd team to Vegas for 9Ball this year for the first time ever! With that being said, we have finally reached the point that we need to use 2 host locations to make 9Ball Tricups happen! Please read this whole post before calling with questions. We will cover everything!
Cuephoria will still be our primary host location with Clicks North being our secondary location for just 2 overflow rounds on Saturday. We will be staggering the start times during these rounds to allow extra time for players who end up needing to travel between both locations. As always, there are too many common players and different win/loss scenarios to guarantee players to not have to travel back and forth so please do not ask us to change the bracket to accommodate your team if this comes up. We have timed it, even with lights, it only takes 4 minutes to get between the 2 locations. Planning and communication will be key!

We will be holding a Captain's meeting at 6:45pm on Friday evening prior to the start of the first round and again at 8:45am on Saturday morning for those teams playing at Cuephoria and 9:15am for those teams playing at Clicks. Doors will open at 8am on both Saturday and Sunday morning at Cuephoria and at 8:30am at Clicks on Saturday morning.
After this weekend, there will be 8 teams moving on to the 9Ball World Qualifier! We have increased our Tricup payout to $900 for the winning teams and they will also secure their place in the 2023/2024 9Ball World Qualifier June 14-16th. Teams that make it to the final round and do not qualify will be invited to the Best Of The Rest Tournament on June 2nd for a second chance at qualifying for the World Qualifier.
If your team CANNOT play for any reason this weekend, please let us know ASAP!! Also, if your team or anyone on your team has a past due balance, please be sure to clear up that past due balance BEFORE this weekend or anyone with a past due balance will be ineligible to play!
