It is always sad to share the loss of anyone.........in the early morning hours, October 15, 2026, after extensive and complicated health issues, Chad Palmer passed away. Chad was part of the APA for over 15 years, around 2000 matches as best we count, and participated in over 50 high level tournaments, maintaining a win percentage of over 90% lifetime in both 8 ball and 9 ball. While Chad was one of the best amateur players in the country, he still had some pro level DNA in his game.

This morning, surrounded by his family, Chad succumbed to his condition and passed away at the age of 37. To Chad's family and all that knew him, our deepest, heart felt, condolences. Our prayers for peace to all concerned.

9 Ball max 12 event-tomorrow BRB
10/23/26 - 7:21 PM
Just a reminder, several have asked, this is a CASH event, you may pick up an active 8 ball player to play in the 9 ball cash event. These events are not like the sanctioned 8 and 9 ball doubles events to Vegas. We can be a bit more flexible on these cash events. We will take sign ups until 1130am in the morning, we will then put the brackets together, one push out after the break, 9 ball wins
MVP Tourney Eligibility correction-BRB

UUPS!!!! As we did last December, we allowed any MVP winners whether they were currently active or not active. The MVP tourney at Black River Billiards tomorrow has the same eligibility. IF YOU WON MVP IN 8 BALL OR 9 BALL OVER THE PAST 3 SESSIONS YOU ARE WELCOME TO PARTICIPATE, BOTH ACTIVE OR NON ACTIVE. WHEN WE DO ONE TOURNAMENT FOR 3 SESSIONS, YOU DESERVE TO BE ABLE TO PLAY.
