We consider this tournament a limited Masters qualifier, with the opportunity for the winning team to pick up another high SL player from another participating team, assuming they played with 3 players, max for Vegas is 4 player teams. We do this so that we can have a healthy qualifier with some of our up and coming high level players to be able to participate. We hope that having a senior high level player will help these players on the rise. The second part, of adding a high level player if you like from another losing team, is to build strength for your team to be competitive in Las Vegas.

Just for clarification- Once a team signs up, their skill levels are frozen. You may have a 3 or 4 player team, of which, you may have 1 SL7 in 8 Ball or 1 SL 8-9 from 9 Ball. In other words, 1 high level player, the other 2 or 3 players must be a lower skill level..........SO ONE HIGH SKILL LEVEL PLAYER. The max number of players on a Vegas team are 4. The winning team from Saturdays tournament, assuming they play the qualifier with 3 players may pick up a 4th player from any other teams that participated but lost. This may be a HIGH SKILL LEVEL player.

The format is 3 players play a full race, race to 7 out of 13 games, 5- 8Ball games and 8- 9Ball games. Winner of break picks to break or call 8 Ball or 9 Ball games first........THIS FORMAT IS A COMBINATION OF 8 AND 9 BALL. The team that wins 2 of the 3 sets wins the round.

This is a great format for some of our less than 7s or 8/9s. to participate and feel some heat and grow as a player!!

Yet another reminder! IMPORTANT!!
1/25/26 - 7:14 pm
We have several players on teams that have not paid their dues; that said, at the break of balls of week 4, or when they play their 1st match, (which ever comes FIRST) dues must be paid. Any players that are not paid at the scoring of week 4 matches, will be dropped from any and all rosters. This deadline includes all teams, so if week 4 you have a bye, you need to drop/add, pay dues, etc. by y
Friday and into the weekend!!

Just a quick update of weather conditions, we continue to have blowing snow and low temperatures, with little to no snow until Sunday evening. Most in not all roads are passable. League play is on for tonight, along with the 9 Ball doubles tourney at Campus Q tomorrow. I would encourage everyone to be diligent in your travels. As in most situations, I would ask all team captains to communicate
