Over the next few days to come, all the scores from the past 2 weekends will be crunched and added to your profiles. You should play all matches based on your APA app. All players that were declared at a different skill level for the tournament will have no effect on the process. ALL players will be processed according to their actual play. 

NOTE

Question 1- I was also asked if declaring a player would hold them to that skill level during the entire tourney, the answer is NO, once a player plays a match his score adjusts to his play. The declaration is simply an opportunity for TEAM CAPTAINS to adjust their players that they KNOW are a different skill level.

Question 2- If no captains chose NOT to declare a player that they know is a higher skill level, will it affect the scrutiny a team gets that has players move up excessively during the tournament.......the answer is yes.........consideration will be given based on the captains decisions during the certification process. 

Question 3- How can players play multiple games in regular league play and go up after a first win at the WQ......Answer- Most players see whole numbers in terms of skill level, a player may be 1/50th of a point from moving up during league play, due to winning 12 of 15. The player and the team have benefited in this example, if you are 1/50th of a point from moving up, it stands to reason you may have a skill level movement during future play.

Question 4- The opposite of Question 3- Why would a player NOT move up in skill level after winning 12 of 15 (example) and another player moves up after 4 matches......answer- there are many factors, are they new or do they have 500 scores, are they sandbaggers (which show many inconsistencies that may not be able to be reconciled, or have they turned in proper scoresheets reflecting actual play, irregardess, your play is rendering a blueprint (fingerprint) of your play (good or bad play) 

TAKE AWAY- It is my expererience that players that play their game (good or bad), get the longivity of accurate skill level ratings.....develops new and existing players and maintains a teams overal performance, .this allows for teams to perform better in competitive situations, and on the other hand calls out all the bullshitters.
