World Qualifier Update!

As we finish up the last few days of playoffs, I wanted to share a few details regarding our 2025 WQ being held at Black River Billiards, in Holland MI, on 5/3025 for 8 Ball and 6/6/25 for 9 Ball........Doors will open at 900AM on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Play on each of these days will start at 10AM........I WOULD ASK ALL TEAM CAPTAINS TO PLEASE REACH OUT PRIOR TO EACH OF THESE WEEKENDS SHOULD YOU NOT UNDERSTAND OR NEED CLARIFICATION, YOUR TEAM WILL APPRECIATE YOU FOR DOING SO.

We anticipate 40/45 teams each weekend, as many of you know we received a 3rd 8 Ball spot in Vegas.......so we will play down to 3 winners on 8 Ball weekend. All matches leading up to championship Sunday will be played on 2 tables, so we will start the tournament splitting tables.This will make the SUDDEN DEATH time, 2 (two) hours from the start of match play.

Championship Sunday will have 12 teams left, the semis and the finals. All Sunday matches will be played on a single table, we will NOT split tables on Sunday.

Black River Billiards will open at 900am on Friday moring and matches will start at 1100am, the following rounds will be at 2pm and the last round at 5pm. Saturday will have 4 rounds starting at 10AM, 100PM, 3PM, and 6PM. Each round will consist of 9 matches being played on 2 tables.

We have 6 double qualified teams, and 2 triple qualified team, Double qualified teams will not play in the 1st round, (11AM round) but may play in the next round. They have earned the priveledge of playing in the latest round possible on Friday night. The 2 Triple qualified teams, have earned a Saturday morning spot, at 10AM.......These details are being completed as we finish the playoffs

This should fill in some of the blanks, we are completing Captains meeting notes currently. More info. will come to you over the next day or so. The layout that is being used should be very comfortable for everyone.

We should be finished by 10PM on both nights of play. Black River Billiards will be open regular hours for those who choose to hang out after the tournament.

I understand the singles tourney have a bit of a waiting list for tomorrows warm up tournament at Black River Billiards. We will play the 2/3, 4/5, 6/7 all of seperate brackets, $200. added money to each bracket. LUCKY HAS OPENED IT UP TO TAKE A FEW MORE PLAYERS PER BOARD. Please make sure all weekly packs are currently dropped in the box, they will be picked up over the next few hours. This should reflect all last week of regular played dvision matches, we will score, confirm all bye points and uneven bye points, and set up the playoff matches on Monday,,,,,,,and deliver early on Tues/Wednesday. So the turn around is fairly short. PLEASE MAKE SURE ALL YOUR MATCHES
