SDAPA Membership

by San Diego APA

General Policy

We’d like to remind all players in the SDAPA league that membership fees should be paid before playing. While there is currently a brief grace period, please note that this is not guaranteed and may change as new software features are implemented that could block unpaid players in the future.

To avoid any disruptions, we strongly recommend that all players pay their APA membership as soon as possible.

  • Players who remain unpaid beyond the initial grace period will be dropped from the roster.
  • The only exceptions are:
    • In the Summer and Fall sessions, Team Captains will be marked as paid and the fee will be charged to the team.
    • In the Spring session, any players on a qualified team who are unpaid will also be marked as paid and charged to the team.

If a player is dropped from a team due to unpaid membership, either the player or the team captain must notify the League Office once payment has been made. Please also indicate which team(s) the player needs to be re-added to.

Please help us keep everything running smoothly by ensuring all dues are taken care of promptly.

Membership Payment Instructions

Current membership dues are $30. Since we act only as a pass-through to the APA National Office, it's best for players to pay their membership directly through their APA account.

Benefits of paying online:

  • Payments are processed almost instantly.
  • The player will no longer show as "unpaid" in the system.

Trouble logging in?

Players who are unable to access their account can contact the League Office for assistance. The best way to reach us is by email or text, as we will need to send specific steps and verify (possibly update) personal information to help them regain access to their account.

Paying for another player?

If you'd like to pay on behalf of a teammate, you may use one of the following methods (failure to do so may result in additional fees):

  • Zelle (Preferred): send to sandiego@apaleagues.com
  • PayPal: send to lizagazmen@gmail.com (please do NOT select "Goods and Services")
  • Venmo: @Liza-Gazmen (please do NOT select "Goods and Services")
  • Cash App: $SDAPA

Please make sure to include:

  • The player's full name
  • Their APA number
  • The team(s) name

If this information is missing, the payment may not be processed until the League Office has the necessary details.

Important Notes:

Paying for another player will take longer to complete and does not guarantee the player will be marked as paid in time or avoid being dropped from the team. The quickest path is for them to log in to their account and pay directly.

Players who are listed on a roster are eligible to play even if they show unpaid.

The Official Team Manual (OTM) has details regarding players who join after Aug 15th, join in Dec and other great information under “Fees” section of the OTM so be sure to review.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
