Situation: We are playing double jeopardy and the other team wants to post the player already playing on the other table. Is this allowed?
No, once a team match begins, play must be continuous. Upon completion of each individual match, the team must have another player available to play or the remaining match(es) will be forfeited.
The San Diego APA League Office deems "continuous play" as 2-3 mins max.
A player who is playing another match or close by is not a reason to hold up play and will trigger the above rule and approx timing.
The 15 min rule is from the start of league night when no player from the other team is present. If a team has anyone present from their roster then play must start and the 15 min rule is no longer in effect.
