Rule of the Week - BLAST Roster and Eligibility

August 19, 2024 7:54 PM

by San Diego APA

Situation: I am changing my Fall Session roster but we made the Summer Session *Blast, which roster will be used?

For the Summer Session Blast the Summer Session ending roster will be used.

In addition players must meet the eligibility requirements for the Blast. Members must have a minimum of 4 matches with the team during the session and must have been on the roster at the end of the session in order to be eligible to play in that session's BLAST tournament. In addition, by the end of the session, participants must have a minimum of 6 matches played in the appropriate format since joining the APA.

If the team wins the Summer Blast per this example and earns a Cities spot, the team roster at the end of the Spring Session will be the roster that will be Cities. All eligibility requirements need to be maintained and met during this time (see bylaws and OTM)

*The BLAST is also known as the Tri-Annual.
