UPDATE ON FORECAST OF WINTER WEATHER

In speaking with the Host Locations that have league tonight and watching forecasts, APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill will be holding league tonight as scheduled. We realize that some teams and players may opt not to play tonight. We want everyone to be safe and only venture out if they are comfortable doing so. 

We ask that everyone, please be respectful of your fellow league players and let your captain know if you will not be there tonight. Team captains, please reach out to the League Office (919) 578-4758 and notify your opponent so that they can make arrangements with their team members. Make-ups will need to be completed by January 18, 2018.

Forecast of Winter Weather

With the threat of winter weather in the area, the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill League Office is watching forecasts carefully. A decision on whether or not to cancel evening league play by 5:00 pm today. No matter what decision is made for the league as a whole, please do not venture out if conditions in your area or the area you are traveling to make you uncomfortable to drive. We realize that our league covers a wide area, some players live further away than others, and conditions can vary considerably from one area to another. We want everyone to be safe!

We ask the following:
- As an individual, if you decide not to travel tonight, please let your team captain know.
- As a team captain, if your team is not going to be at league, let the League office know (919) 578-4758 and contact the opposing team captain.
- As is stated in the By-laws under Section 17 - Severe Weather exception, you will have two weeks to complete any matches not played due to severe weather.
