The Summer Session 9-Ball City Tournament is scheduled for Sept Sept 27-30 at Brass Tap & Billiards and Brown's Billiards. The tournament consists of 46 teams and is Modified Single Elimination (guaranteed to play twice not lose twice). One (1) team will be qualifying for the APA World Pool Championships hosted in Las Vegas, in August 2020! 

  • All Friday night matches start at 7pm (both locations).
  • The tournament board is linked below. Please note when and where your team(s) play on Friday and/or Saturday. Saturday times are different for each location.
  • All Sunday play will take place at the primary location, Brass Tap & Billiards.
  • A Team Captain's Meeting will be held 30 minutes prior to the start of first round play on Friday night and Saturday morning. 
  • Team captains, you received World Qualifier Certification Forms on week 1 with instructions to return them in the weekly envelope. If you have not already done so, you have 1 week left. NO FORMS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE START OF THE TEAM CAPTAINS MEETING ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT. Any late forms or signatures will not be allowed to play until the following round.

I want to take a minute to address why a fourth winner was not crowned at the 2025 8-Ball World Qualifier and explain what actually took place. The plain and simple answer is I made an error during the tournament setup. A player who was not eligible to play was inadvertently included on the roster as an eligible player.
