9-Ball Tri-Annual Board and Info for Summer 2026

The 2026 Summer Session 9-Ball Tri-Annual will be September 12-13, 2026, at Break Time Billiards. The tournament is single-elimination. Ten (10) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled for May 2027.

Just as World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships, Tri-Annuals are an extension of Session Playoffs. They will follow playoff rules, except for Sudden Death (3 hours 9-ball), Common player rules (Common players must sit out), and allowances for teams that cannot meet the 23 rule (see tournament staff for details).

Forfeits will be 20-0
No Replays are allowed
No Certification is required
2 timeouts are allowed for Skill Level 3 and below
All players are required to have 6 matches with the Summer team that is participating

Please note when your team plays, each team will either play on Saturday or Sunday
There are three rounds each day: 10:00 am, 2:30 pm, and 7:00 pm.

We are testing a new online tournament function for the Summer 9-Ball Tri-Annual. You can now view the tournament Rosters, Schedule, and Board in the APA Pool League App (Member Services). At the time of this post, all sections are live.
