The 2024 Summer Session 8-Ball Tri-Cities will be September 7-8, 2024 at High House Billiards. The tournament is Single Elimination. Ten (10) teams will win a slot and advance to the APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill World Qualifier scheduled to begin on May 16, 2024.

Just as World Qualifiers are an extension of the World Pool Championships, Tri-Cities are an extension of Session Playoffs and will follow playoff rules except for Sudden Death, Common player rules, and allowances for teams that can not meet the 23 rule.

  • Forfeits will be 3-0
  • No Replays are allowed
  • No Certification is required
  • 2 Time outs are allowed for Skill Level 3 and below
  • All players are required to have 6 matches with the Summer team that is participating

Live Tournament Board - Best viewing experience can be had by downloading the google sheets mobile app.

  • Please note when your team plays, each team will either play on Saturday or Sunday.
  • There are three rounds each day: 9:00 am, 2:00 pm, and 7:00 pm. Doors will open at 8:00 am each day.
  • There will be a Captain's Meeting 15 minutes before the start of your first round.

Forecast models show that there will be an accumulation of snow this weekend, so at this time we are announcing changes to scheduled Saturday and Sunday league activities. Ladies League Vegas Qualifier - The tournament is being rescheduled for March 14th & 15th. Additional details about the board and round times will be posted asap. Returning to regular schedule 1/27/26

League play will resume this evening at 7 pm. We have spoken to the Host Locations and they will be open normal hours today. Always remember, we do have a Severe Weather Policy outlined in our by-laws and always put your safety first! Please do not venture out if conditions in your area or the area you are traveling to make you uncomfortable to drive. We realize that our league covers a wide area,
Monday League Play

After speaking with Host Locations, and watching forecasts, it appears that road conditions may improve some this afternoon but will deteriorate quickly with the low temperatures this evening. APA Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill is canceling league play for Monday January 26, 2026. If you must venture out please be safe! We will continue to keep you informed on a daily basis. You can expect an update
